As the best-selling title in the Dark Souls series, Dark Souls 3 has remained a fan favorite since its release in 2016. Following the success of the remastered edition of Dark Souls 1, many players have been hoping that FromSoftware will remaster the other two games in the series. Recently, according to a report from Tech4Gamers, a remastered edition of Dark Souls 3 is currently in the works!
The news comes from insider Nick Baker, who revealed that there is more information regarding the project but could not disclose additional details at this time. Based on the remastered edition of Dark Souls 1, it is likely that the remastered Dark Souls 3 will feature improved graphics and more stable frame rates. Fans are also hoping that the developers preserve the fun bugs from the original game. (Cue the “left bow ready” sound effect.mp3)
However, Tech4Gamers also mentioned that the development of a remastered Dark Souls 3 seems to confirm that Bloodborne has once again been sidelined by FromSoftware. The long-awaited PC version or sequel to Bloodborne remains as elusive as ever for fans.
