As Satisfactory approaches the 5th anniversary of its early access launch, developer Coffee Stain Studios has announced that the game has surpassed 5.5 million copies sold, with plans to release its Version 1.0 later this year.
Satisfactory debuted in March 2019 as an early access title, initially as an Epic Games exclusive. It expanded to the Steam platform the following year. The game’s vibrant, explorable scientific world, experienced from a first-person perspective, and its cooperative multiplayer gameplay have captivated fans of similar games.
The developers revealed that Version 1.0 will include “a brand-new storyline and numerous new features,” emphasizing that development will continue even after the game exits early access.
